What if you could print furniture at home?

The Beam Table is constructed using a 3D printer and some basic hardware store materials. The leg brackets were designed taking into consideration the strengths and weaknesses of FDM 3D-printing. The no-overhang geometry of these brackets means they can print without support or raft material.

Since being made available to the public in October of 2015, the design has been downloaded over 6,000 times across the world and featured on the homepages of online communities, Makerbot Thingiverse and Cults3D. If you have access to a 3D printer, the kit is free for the making!
